Fingersoft coo ville rauma leave developer

Fingersoft Coo Ville Rauma has left the Finnish developer after working there for 11 years.

When announcing his game on LinkedIn, Rauma did not specify a reason to leave. However, he said he is “considering works, joining a new company or founding my own company, but I have not yet made any decision.”

“I have not had enough time to properly process what this means to me, but I have a great sense of gratitude to all my fellow and partners with whom I have worked over the years,” Rauma wrote.

“When I started we had a live game and 12 people. During my time [there]Fingersoft has created several live games, doubled the annual income and has built a complete game study of 100 professionals. “

He concluded: “That success is not a coincidence or luck, but it is the result that everyone appears every day and they come true.”

Rauma joined fingerprorsoft in 2014 as a full battery developer and product owner. He became the director of Operations in 2016, a position he held for eight years. During that time, he also assumed the role of interim CEO between July and December 2019, since the study looked for his next leader.

Rauma began his career in the games industry in 2007 as a software designer in Digital Agency Studio Happywise.

He then worked for Tunela Productions as a product manager from June 2008 to March 2011, before moving on to Ludocraft as a game programmer.

Last October, Fingersoft said goodbye to 14 employees due to a “substantial decrease in advertising income.” The affected roles included those in departments of development, marketing, community and ASO.
