Welcome to the summary of this week of the biggest elevators and faults in fantasy basketball!
As the season takes place, players’ performances continue to shake the classifications and impacts on fantasy lists. Whether it is a star that makes waves or a veteran who loses the land, staying ahead of trends is crucial for fantasy success.
In this weekly breakdown, we will highlight the best artists who climb the lists and those whose value is sliding, helping him to make smarter alignment decisions.
Lessor
Josh Giddey, PG/SG/SF, Chicago Bulls (90% in the list in the ESPN Leagues)
Giddey had a monster game on Thursday with 27 points, 16 boards and 4 triples in 34 minutes against the Knicks. Matas Buzelis, Nikola Vucevic and Coby White have been fighting, and the Bulls have lost five consecutive games. The only positive constant has been Giddey, who is having its best month of the season in February. It is contributing greatly to the score (18.4 ppg), rebounds (7.0 rpg), assists (4.3 APG), robberies (1.3 spg), blocks (1.0 bpg) and triple (2.60 3pm) this month, and shows no signs of signs of signs of decelerating.
Kawhi Leonard, SF/PF, Clippers (87%)
While there are still injury concerns that surround Leonard, he has been a soldier for sixth -signed clippers, scoring 25 points with full statistics lines in his last two games and playing almost every night. Norman Powell is out with a knee injury, which will put the ball in Leonard’s hands even more. Leonard has been particularly effective from beyond the arch, hitting almost 41% of its attempts of 3 points in February and looks as healthy as it has done in a couple of years. Even when Powell is back, Leonard should continue to contribute everywhere outside the Shot block, although he had a three -block game on February 4.
Brook López, C, Milwaukee Bucks (76%)
Bobby Portis has been suspended by 25 games, clearing the way for López to get all the minutes you can handle for bucks in the future. With his ability to score, hit triples and block shots, López has the potential of the 25 best for the rest of the season for fifth sowed bucks. At night when Damian Lillard (Ischiotibes) and Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) are out, López will be a main offensive option for Milwaukee. Nor does it hurt Khris Middleton now in Washington, leaving the bucks dangerously thin in the front.
Max Christie, SG, Dallas Mavericks (31%)
The MAVs need Christie to be a star after changing Luka Doncic to the Lakers. Christie has scored 15 to 23 points in her six games with the Mavericks and has also been accumulating triples, rebounds, assists, robberies and blockages for her new team. He is playing 34 MPG and has played 39 minutes in his last two outings, while also shooting very well from both the field (50%) and the free throw line (81%) in February. Make sure you are not sitting on your league exemption cable.
Jeremy Sochan, PF, San Antonio Spurs (27%)
With Victor Wembanyama for the season, several Spurs should obtain an impulse in their absence. But Sochan should end up being the great winner and his versatility allows him to play the five positions, if necessary. Sochan numbers do not jump from the page and has scored in a single digit in two of its last four games, but it does a little of everything and could take off with Wemby season suddenly coming to an end. Charles Bassey, Keldon Johnson and Chris Paul will receive an impulse from Weemby’s absence, but Sochan is the player who I think will make the greatest jump.

Players
Lamelo Ball, PG, Charlotte Hornets (100%)
Ball was left out on Thursday against Nuggets for the management of right ankle injuries and the clock is marking to close it for the season. He has appeared in just three games in February and, although he looked great in a victory over the Lakers on Wednesday, I simply do not see any way the season for the Hornets of 14 wins. The next time I play in a game for Hornets could be the last one, so I would seek to change it in fantasy the next time I play. Once the calendar reaches the march, Ball’s probabilities of being closed will shoot.
Zion Williamson, PF, New Orleans Pelicans (97%)
Like Ball, the closing clock should also be marking Williamson. The Pelicans have only 13 victories and are in the last place at the West Conference. They are solidly in the hunt in the Cooper Flagg raffle and simply do not need to win games. The Pelicans will not let Zion play in consecutive games and have four more series of them, which means that at least four more games will be lost. But the deeper we arrive at the time of the season, the greater the possibilities that the pelicans close it. Let him have another great game or two and then consider moving it before it’s too late.
Paul George, SF/PF, Philadelphia 76ers (93%)
George is not only a great risk of injuries, but the Sixers are still fighting, sitting out of the playoffs such as the eleventh seed in the east. George has had a difficult February, scoring two to 14 points in five consecutive games before finally showing signs of life against the Celtics on Thursday, when he scored 17 points with three triples. He has averaged only 11.3 points while fired 42% in his six games this month, and simply does not seem the player who once was. Let me get hot again and then try to move it. If the Sixers renounce the playoffs, George will be a superior closing candidate.
Naz Reid, PF/C, Minnesota Timberwolves (81%)
Reid has been excellent in Minnesota and has scored 22 to 30 points in five of its last seven games, playing 34.4 MPG in February. However, Julius Randle seems to be coming to a return from his groin injury and has been clear for five against five activities after playing on January 30. Randle will take shots and bouncing opportunities from Reid’s hands once he is healthy again. , so the fantasy managers would be wise to buy Reid, while their value is still at its peak. There is no need to panic, since Reid will still provide some fantasy value along with a healthy randle, but production will not be where it is currently.
Aaron Gordon, PF, Denver Nuggets (52%)
Russell Westbrook has returned from a tension in the hamstrings and, although it was not great on Thursday, he played 26 minutes after being left aside during the previous three weeks. Eventually it should return to the initial unit for Nuggets, and although Gordon is likely to remain in the initial five, the presence of Westbrook will limit Gordon once it is at full speed. Gordon scored more than 13 points in just three January games, when Westbrook was healthy and played at a high level. Gordon did not have more than six rebounds in any of those January games and is a more valuable player for Nuggets of what will be for fantasy managers once Westbrook is completely healthy again.
