SOUTHPORT, Conn. – Diamond Sports Crew channels will soon be called FanDuel Sports Community.
The Diamond Sports Team, which is going through capitular court cases, and FanDuel made the announcement on Friday. Diamond Channels have been Bally Sports activities since baseball’s inaugural era in 2021. The alternate name will hit the playing field on October 21.
The monetary phrases of the exchange were not excepted.
Diamond Sports has been in Chapter 11 Bankruptcy court cases in the Southern District of Texas since filing its defense in March 2023. The company stated in a financial filing last month that it was $8.67 billion in debt.
Bally Sports’ regional activity networks provide television space to eight Major League Baseball teams, eight NFL teams and 13 NBA teams.
Initiation and then generation, Diamond’s 16 regional sports channels will whip up the identity of the FanDuel Sports community.
FanDuel TV will have its options, such as the show “Up & Adams” with host Kay Adams, alternative sports betting programs and alternative content such as horse racing and EuroLeague basketball, will also be shown on Diamond’s regional sports networks.
Diamond CEO David Preschlack said the partnership will increase fan delight and deepen “the incremental value we bring to our team, league and distribution partners.”
For FanDuel, its president of sports, Mike Raffensperger, said it puts the company’s name in front of the family’s largest regional sports network team.
