Atlanta Falcons have found a new kicker.
According to an NFL Media report, the Falcons agreed an agreement in a three -year agreement with the kicker born in German Lenny Krieg. Krieg participated in the NFL Scouting Combine last month and, according to the reports, impressed the teams at the International Player Pathway Pro Day held earlier this week.
The Falcons were the first team to receive Krieg and chose to sign with them after receiving a three -year contract that includes a signature bonus and guarantees in their base salary, according to the NFL media.
According to the European Soccer League website, Krieg made the 14 field goal attempts in the harvester, from distances between 35 and 55 yards. He turned 11 of 16 field goals while playing for Stuttgart arose of effl in 2025.
Atlanta has had Younghoe Koo as a kicker since 2019. He connected with at least 86.5% of his field goals for each of his first five seasons with the team, doing the Pro Bowl in 2020 when he led the NFL going 37 of 39 in its kicks.
However, it slid last season, with 25 of 34, a conversion rate of 73.5%. Apparently, that was enough to send the Falcons looking for another kicking to compete with him this low season. Since Krieg obtained a three -year agreement that includes guaranteed money, it could actually have an advantage over Koo, which has no guaranteed money that remains in the last two years of its five -year contract and $ 24.25 million.
