Epic Games Store will give away 16 free games during Christmas

Epic Games Store will give away 16 free games during the Christmas period.

This is according to the ever-reliable dataminer billbil-kun, who claims that the promotion will launch on December 12 alongside the Epic Games Store holiday deals.

Epic has run similar holiday promotions in recent years, and this week’s free Epic Games Store title has not been revealed as usual, with the company saying it plans to offer a “mystery game.”

Writing on Dealabs, billbil-kun stated that tomorrow’s free game will be available to claim for a week.

Then, starting December 19, a free mystery game will be given away every day for 15 consecutive days. They will be available to claim for only 24 hours, excluding the last one, which will be free from January 2 to 9.

Currently, the Epic game Store is giving away Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and Bus Simulator 21 Next Stop.

They are available to claim for free until 8am PT / 11am ET / 4pm BST on Thursday, when they will be replaced by the first mystery free game.

Amazon will offer Prime subscribers more than 25 PC games at no additional charge in December. They include the enhanced editions of Baldur’s Gate and Baldur’s Gate 2, The Outer Worlds, Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, Tomb Raider Underworld, and Overcooked 2.
