Pederson added that he is “frustrated” and “angry” after the loss, the club’s fourth straight loss. He suggested the Jaguars’ upcoming Week 12 bye will come “at the right time,” saying “our guys need some time off.”
Still employed Monday, Pederson was asked about possible changes to his coaching staff at his regular news conference.
“I think you have to be very, very careful when you start pointing fingers at certain people,” Pederson said, via NFL Media. “That’s a dangerous thing and I’m not going to do it. I’m not going to do it. Not now. As a head coach of this league that’s going through what we’re going through, you’re pointing the finger. And if it has to be pointed, it’s got to be pointed at me. Start with me. Enough of that.”
Pederson said “everything is on the table” when it comes to potential play-calling changes, but of course, he might not be the one to make that decision.

Pederson is now 20-25 as the Jaguars’ coach, going 9-8 in his first two seasons leading the staff. He led Jacksonville to an upset playoff victory in his first year on the job, but missed the postseason in 2023.
