Divided fiction is not included in the subscription of EA’s work in launch

Divided fiction will not be included in the EA Play subscription service in the launch.

The last cooperative adventure of two Hazelight players is available today, but it will not be part of the subscription, at least immediately.

A community manager of EA responded to fans in the EA forum, stating: “At this time, divided fiction is not scheduled to be available in EA Play Pro in the launch, but we are always exploring ways to bring more great games to our members.”

EA Play offers tests of “Select New Games” and unlimited access to “a collection of EA Top titles” for £ 5.99 per month, while the most pricer version offers access to the first day to the complete editions of “Select New Games” and unlimited access to a “EA Premium Edition titles library” by £ 16.99 per month.

But Split Fiction, released under the EA Originals label, will not be included in any of the levels as a “new selected game.” The previous Hazelight games need two and one exit are included.

“Certainly seems false advertising,” wrote a forum user. “This is so unfair that EA play pro even increased the price and we still can’t get the last games,” another wrote.

The latest additions to the service are EA Sports FC 24 and EA Sports F1 24. The game tests available are all sports games.

Another of EA’s other published games, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, is not available in the subscription, although PS Plus was added this month.

On the other side, divided fiction includes crossplay on all platforms in a first for Hazelight, which means you can play the game with a free friend on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, or PC (Windows, Steam, Epic) using Friend’s pass function. At least one paid copy of the game is required, unless they are playing the free demonstration together.

Split Fiction received five stars in the Eurogamer review. “Fantastic from beginning to end, Split Fiction is one of the most inventive and cheerful cooperative games to date, and a testimony of the power of human imagination,” he says.
