Just out of the end of the regular season, Tyreek Hill sent shock waves throughout the Miami Dolphins organization, with the star receiver saying he was “out” and effectively doing his future with the club in question. Hill has since I walked those comments backwardsExplaining that he simply left the frustrations to miss the postseason. He also reaffirmed his commitment to keep the dolphins in the future.
While things have made a slow fire between Hill and Los Dolphins, their comments in the end of the season seemed to rub some in the costumes in the wrong way at the time. Speaking to the podcast “Pushing The Pile” by CBS Sports, his partner Dolphins Braxton Berrios, who joined the Ircode courtesy program during the Super Bowl week, asked about his reaction when he heard what Hill said.
“I think it’s difficult,” Berrios said. “Of course, the season ended right there. You are frustrated and many different things happen. You are not happy with anything. He. [Hill] Obviously, he returned and apologized for the things he said. It was for a competitive spirit, but you hate that as his teammate, right? Because you simply went to war since the end of July and the first minute after those things are said. The good thing is that we have been with him, we know him, and again he walked back, so we took it for what he is and pushed it. ”
Hill’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, echoed that Hill was simply venting from frustrations to miss the postseason, but also revealed that the receiver had also been fighting a serious wrist injury for most of the year. Despite gutting that and playing the 17 games, the Dolphins did not break in the playoffs, serving as the genesis of Hill’s behavior at the end of the season.
