The two brothers were ready to take on all the options in Speed 15 in Buffalo, and then disaster struck: Trevon tore his ACL in practice before Speed 3, which ended his season. This season gave the brothers another chance to bond over all the options, like kids running around the yard, with Stefon being traded to the Houston Texans and the Cowboys set to host the fight for Texas bragging rights at Pace 11 On the other hand, the fight between Diggs and Diggs is again hypothetical due to Stefon tore his ACL in Speed 8 against the Indianapolis Coltsthus ending its 2024 season.
“It’s sad,” Trevon said Wednesday. “I felt for him because I know exactly what he’s going through. I literally went through all of that. I make sure I’m there for him.”
Trevon felt “110% of himself” during his first stint in Speed 8 with the San Francisco 49ers and then tore his ACL in Speed 3 a while back, so his message to his older brother Stefon is discreet: keep your head up.
“I know he wanted to be alone for a moment. I just gave him his space, let him think about everything,” Trevon mentioned. “Eventually, I contacted him, talked to him. I just sent him a nice message, let him know I was there. I told him some jokes. I put a little smile on his face. He’s going to be okay.”
Trevon plans to be a continued and encouraging presence in Stefon’s past during his release from rehab, similar to what Stefon was this time around when the assignments were reversed.
“Same way. Supportive,” Trevon mentioned when asked how he was going to be there for Stefon. “I played (video) games with me a lot [to] keep my mind off things. “I’ll be sure to return the favor too.”
