San Francisco-El Nookato de los San Antonio Spurs, Stephon Castle, said the MVP Trophy of Stars Rising Stars that raised Friday night is not the only hardware that plans to win during the NBA All-Star weekend.
Castle led team C, trained by Chris Mullin, on the G League team, trained by Jeremy Lin, for a decisive 25-14 victory in the final, scoring 11 points and collecting one of his three assists in Utah Jazz’s rookie Keyonte winner of the GEORGE TRIPLE game.
Team C won its first group game with Castle by hitting the decisive jump shot to beat the T team, trained by Tim Hardeway Mr., 40-34. (In the first two games, the target score to achieve was 40; in the final, the target score was 25.)
“Being part of the game’s winning cube in both means a lot,” Castle said.
The Rising Stars game, consisting of three teams with seven first and second year players, and a fourth team with seven g leaguers, was the beginning of an offshine itinerary for Castle. The 6 -feet and 6 guard is also competing in the volley contest on Saturday night.
When asked what Dunks has planned for the window, Castle told ESPN: “I don’t want to spoil anything, but I will only say that the MVP trophy is not the only trophy that I am trying to take home.”
