A new report now suggests that some biore staff “borrowed” to other EA studies will not return.
Earlier this week, in the midst of reports of possible dismissals in Biware, Studio Gary McKay has confirmed that “many” employees have now moved to another part of EA after the end of Dragon Age: The Veilguard, and that a remaining central team is completely focused mass effect 5.
Now, however, Bloomberg reports that the “loans” made by Bioware to support EA teams in other places have now “transformed into permanent relocations.”
According to Bloomberg sources and “people familiar with what happened,” the staff are no longer a biore employees “temporarily in the allocation elsewhere”, but, in fact, they now work for any EA subsidiary who has taken them.
“If you want to work back in Bioware in the future, they would have to look for work openings and re -apply,” said Bloomberg.
“This was an inopportune development for some of the employees, who are now in new teams in the studies they had never planned to join. Some had come to Bioware to work in role -playing franchises and find the idea of working in The less attractive action or sports games. “
This means that Bioware has apparently reduced its 200 account by about 100 in just two years.
Dragon Age and Mass Effect Veteran Trick Weekes is among a group of biore veterans who recently announced that they are now looking for work after the news that Bioware is reducing size.
