Third quarter archive
A win for the Kings would push their record over .500, and over the next three quarters of play they have put themselves in a great position to do so. They have a bit of protection as they recently outscored the Hawks 102-90.
If the Kings book a game like that, they will raise their record to 3-2 at the wrong age. On the other hand, the Hawks must build with a 2-4 record until they turn things around (and quickly).

What to know
The Kings and Hawks are a good 5-5 against each other since January 2019, but not for long. The Sacramento Kings will take a road trip to take on the Atlanta Hawks at 7:30 pm ET on Friday at Condition Farm Arena. The Hawks have the credit of playing at home, but the Kings are expected to win by 6.5 points.
The Kings head into this next event where bettors expect the finish date to be above or below the 234.5 low, but even that ended up being too high. The Jazz struggled through the week into overtime on Tuesday, winning the game 113-96. Sacramento brought the lead to 90-66 at the end of third place, a loss that Utah chipped away at but never recovered from.
The Kings’ victory was a true collective struggle, with many players giving up performances from the cast. Perhaps the best among them was Domantas Sabonis, who had a double-double with 28 points and 11 rebounds. Additionally, Sabonis also recorded a grassland target share of 72.2%, which is the highest since March. DeMar DeRozan was another key player, going 9 of 14 for 20 points plus eight assists.
Meanwhile, the Hawks’ current tough field got a little tougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They took a 133-120 clash into the loss column at the hands of the Wizards. Atlanta fell short of their game and found themselves falling below merit bettors’ idea that they would enter the sport.
Despite the loss, the Hawks got a top-notch performance from Trae Young, who had a double-double with 35 points and 15 assists. Young had some trouble finding his footing against the Wizards on Monday, so this was a positive development.
The victory was given to Sacramento again to tie the score at 2-2. As for Atlanta, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
The Kings outscored the Hawks when the team last played in January by a score of 122-107. The rematch could be a little more complicated for the Kings, since the team will not have the merit of playing at home in this round. We will see if the change of venue has an effect.
