A message posted by the Assassin’s Creed Shadows development team has thanked franchise fans for “the large amount of love and positivity” received since the long -awaited launch of the game last week, which, according to the team, had been “incredibly moving.”
Assassin’s Creed Shadows had a particularly difficult path to launch, harassed by delays and numerous online controversies, and an uncertain future for the Ubisoft editor in general.
But, four days and two million players later: the final result seems to be a game that the Assassin’s Creed fans base has taken hotly, with numerous positive threads in the Assassin’s Creed Reddit, and a very positive user rating in Steam of those who have played.
“This weekend, many of us in the development team spend time reading their reactions at the Assassin’s Creed submen, and we just want to thank,” said a message from the Ubisoft Quebec development team. “The large amount of love and positivity we have received has been incredibly moving.”
The team’s message occurs in response to a popular thread at Assassin’s Creed Subnetdit during the weekend with more than 2.3k votes, sending thanks to the Shadows team for a well -made work, with particular praise for the images, combat and mechanics of game exploration.
“We found this particular publication,” the team continued, referring to that thread of fans, “and it really moved us. Seeing his emotion, his reflexive reactions and his joy has meant the world for us. After years of hard work, there is nothing more gratifying than seeing the community connect with what we have created.
“While we do not respond directly, they know that we are listening. The entire development team has been reading their publications (the celebrations, the comments, the theories, and has been inspiring. It feeds us. And it helps us to continue improving.”
The Assassin’s Creed Shadows team closed with a wink to the future, and the game continues to change and grow in the coming months through future patches and expansions, the first of which is due to anyone who pre -preceded the game.
“Thank you for being part of this trip with us. This is only the beginning of the shadows, and we are delighted to see that the game evolves with you by our side.
“‘Where other men blindly still the truth, remember … nothing is true.'”
“Majestic in scope, impressive in detail, the epic adventure of Ubisoft honors the beauty of feudal Japan, even if its strongest moments are stored for the personal stories of its two protagonists,” I wrote in the review of the Shadows Shadows of Eurogamer’s Assassin.
