According to MathWorks, MATLAB is a programming and numeric computing platform used by millions of engineers and scientists to analyze data, develop algorithms, and create models.”

Resetera users are now assuming that Pyoro’s tweet refers to MATLAB’s ‘fzero‘ function.

Although Nintendo has not revealed plans for a future presentation, the platform holder has typically held a Direct livestream in September, and suspicion is growing that one will be officially confirmed soon.

Since the last title in the series, the GBA game F-Zero Climax was released 19 years ago, fans have been waiting for Nintendo to reveal a new F-Zero game.

Takaya Imamura, the artist who developed the characters and cars of F-Zero, said in 2021 that the series wasn’t dead but was “hard to bring back.”

In another interview earlier this year, Imamura, who is leaving Nintendo in 2021, stated that he would like to see Nintendo outsource a new F-Zero to a third-party developer.

He thinks that if Nintendo trusts people to create games comparable to their own, they should share their knowledge with those individuals.

Toshihiro Nagoshi expressed his eagerness to return to the Nintendo franchise.
