The Editor of the 90s Games, ACCLAIM has been revived, supported by a team of industry veterans who seek to support independent titles and “classic revive franchises.”
Directed by CEO Alex Josef, former founder and CEO of Graffiti Games, the firm aims to provide resources that include funds, marketing and public relations support to independent studies.
He has selected an industry leaders advisory board to support this effort, including the founding partner of Stiker Entertainment Russell Binder, the founder of Ridge Partners, Mark Caplan, and the founder of Global Force Entertainment and professional fighter Jeff Jarrett.
The action growth strategy is supported by Vaynerfund, Phil Toronto, and Jet Eric Vogel’s management partner.
“It is an absolute honor and a pleasure to be leading the position to recover the acclamation to the avant -garde of the Games Industry,” said the ACCEMACT CEO, Alex Josef.
“We are lucky that we have an extremely talented team and that we have already signed some incredible independent titles, which we will reveal soon.
Jeff Jarrett added: “For more than three decades, I have had the privilege of having been part of the universes of struggle and play, and now I am delighted to be a partner in the Renaissance to acclaim.
“From my early participation with the editor’s 16 -bit WWF titles to my experience, helping to shape TNA wrestling services […] I have seen first hand the type of impact that great games can have on players and fans.
“Resuscitating the acclaimed is an opportunity to teach the same degree of passion and love of a new generation, and I am excited to participate.”
ACCEMACT was originally founded in 1987 and became a world editor, developer and mass marketer.
He brought franchises such as Mortal Kombat, Turok and NBA Jam to domestic consoles, and was also known for their game adaptations of The Simpsons, Alien 3, Judge Dredd and Batman Forever.
