A list for a new Lego Kart game aimed at adults has appeared online, before Lego’s official announcement.
The set, which consists of 1,972 pieces, is called Lego Mario Kart: Mario and Standard Kart and has an 18+ rating due to the complexity of the construction.
The set was seen on a website of the Lego Australian store officially certified, where it currently has a price of $ 249.99 ($ 158 / £ 122). According to the list, the set has a launch date of May 15.
According to the official description on the store’s page, the set “presents a building of Mario Buildable with a possible head and arms, sitting behind the Mario Kart most emblematic vehicle of all.”
It also comes with a support that allows users to place KART at a dynamic angle, which impresses that a corner is turning.
The set is supposed to be officially announced later today, because LEGO generally announces the thematic sets of Super Mario notable on March 10, which is known as Mario Day (Mar10).
Last year in Mario Day, Lego’s presentation ended with a teaser for the Lego Mario Kart series, which consists of smaller constructions aimed at younger collectors.
While there are numerous Lego Super Mario and Animal Crossing sets aimed at children, this new Mario Kart product is the last one of a series of themed Lego sets of video games aimed at adult collectors, many of whom have been officially licensed by Nintendo.
The previous adult theme sets have included a Lego Nintendo entertainment system, a 2,807 pieces, a Piranha plant, a Mario 64 block block, the great Deku tree of Zelda’s legend and a set of Lego Super Mario World that looks like a pixel art.
Other thematic sets of videogames aimed at adults have included a 2600 Atari, a Tallneck from Horizon forbidden West, a Minecraft elaboration table and the Sonic the Hedgehog’s green hill area.
In January, Lego announced that it would be associated with Nintendo to launch a Lego version of the Nintendo game Boy in October 2025.
Lego Insiders later reported that the set will probably be published on October 1 at a price of $ 59.99, and will consist of 421 pieces.
