A new video game based on Cult Anime Samurai Pizza Gats is developing.
Samurai Pizza Cats: Blast of the past is reaching “all the main platforms” in 2026, with a steam page already above.
Studied to be published by Red Dunes Games, the game is being developed by Dutch Studio Blast Zero, better known for the Inspired Beat ‘Em Up Jitsu Squad anime.
The game is described as a “2D action role game” and will see players capable of changing among the members of the pizza cats while exploring the world of Little Tokyo. Each cat will have their own skills.
The first advance of the game was also launched, revealing that the game will have a 2D art style designed to look like the original animated series.
