Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first in the third and final T20I. Salman Agha, who captains the team in place of Mohammad Rizwan who missed today, is looking to avoid an Australian victory after the hosts won the first two T20Is. This match, to be played in Hobart, is the final match of the tour, with Pakistan moving to Zimbabwe for another white-ball series starting later this week.
Haseebullah Khan returns to the side and will keep the wicket, while Jahandad Khan comes for his international debut. Australia is unchanged and will field the same team for the third consecutive match.

Jahandad is a young left-arm medium pace bowler and left-handed batsman from Rawalpindi. He made his mark with impressive performances for Pakistan Television in the Presidents Cup and Champions One-Day Stallions Cup in recent months. He also played the last PSL season with Lahore Qalandars.
