Who should you start with? Who should you sit next to? To help you set your fantasy football lineups and avoid starting an offensive player who won’t be in the lineup, we’ll post relevant fantasy updates and analysis here as NFL teams release their official inactive lists. Any rankings cited in this column come from the ranks of our ESPN Fantasy staff.
Sunday’s official idlers should begin arriving approximately 90 minutes before scheduled start times: around 11:30 a.m. ET for early games and 2:30 p.m. ET for afternoon games.
Sam LaPorta, TE, DET: Shin– OUTSIDE
Impact: Brock Wright will replace him in Detroit. Look elsewhere on the waiver wire to replace him on your fantasy team if you can.
MarShawn Lloyd, RB, GB: Disease — OUTSIDE
Impact: Already on track to return from IR after ankle and hamstring issues, the rookie is now dealing with appendicitis and may not even be able to return this season as a result.
Trevor Lawrence, quarterback, JAX: Shoulder — OUTSIDE
Impact: Mac Jones will start again this week. Lawrence aims to return in Week 13, after the team’s bye.
Bigsby Tank, RB, JAX: Ankle — OUTSIDE
Impact: Travis Etienne Jr. should end up handling the majority of the carries in Jacksonville’s backfield.
Keilan Robinson, RB, JAX: Toe — Questionable
Impact: D’Ernest Johnson will handle backup RB duties.
Harrison Bryant, TE, LV: Ankle — OUTSIDE
Impact: Bryant was backing up Brock Bowers, but he may no longer have those honors when he returns.
Michael Mayer, TE, LV: Staff — Questionable
Impact: Practiced all week and has been activated from IR.
Jamaal Williams, RB, NO: Groin — OUTSIDE
Impact: Taysom Hill will have at least one more week as the Saints’ “No. 2 RB” behind Alvin Kamara.
Cedrick Wilson Jr., WR, NO: Shoulder — Questionable
Impact: If he suited up, Márquez Valdés-Scantling might not be as attractive of a flex play.
Davante Adams, WR, New York: Doll — Questionable
Impact: He was seen practicing on Friday, which suggests that he will be able to play on Sunday.
Jaylen Warren, RB, PIT: Back — Questionable
Impact: Conversely, Najee Harris (ankle) was removed from the injury report and will play.
Tyler Boyd, WR, TEN: Back — Questionable
Impact: His addition to Saturday’s injury report is not a good sign. Nick Westbrook-Ikhine would see an increase in fantasy value if Boyd sits out.
Dalton Kincaid, TE, BUF: Knee — OUTSIDE
Impact: Dawson Knox gets a chance to shine. Kincaid will likely return in Week 13 following the Bills’ bye.
Amari Cooper, WR, BUF: Doll — Questionable
Impact: All signs point to Cooper playing in this one.
Josh Reynolds, WR, DEN: Hand — OUT/GO
Impact: He’s still recovering from surgery, so Devaughn Vele maintains his marginal fantasy value for now.
Isiah Pacheco, RB, KC: Ankle — OUT/GO
Impact: Pacheco is not ready to return yet, so Kareem Hunt will have at least one more week as leader.
Harrison Butker, K, KC: Knee — OUT/GO
Impact: Spencer Shrader will take over kicking while Butker recovers from surgery.
Noah Fant, TE, MAR: Groin — OUTSIDE
Impact: AJ Barner starts in his place. Brady Russell (foot) will also be out for Week 11.
George Kittle, TE, San Francisco: Hamstring– Questionable
Impact: Sources currently report that Kittle is unlikely to play. Make sure you have another TE option ready.
sunday night game
Charlie Jones, WR, CIN: Groin — OUTSIDE
Impact: Tee Higgins (quad) was removed from the injury report and should play.
