Lamar Jackson receives friendship bracelet from young fan

OWINGS MILLS, Md. — In Sunday’s 41-10 victory over the Denver Broncos, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson earned his place in NFL history with a special accessory.

After his league-tying fourth game with a perfect passer rating, Jackson ran toward a young fan holding a sign that read, “Lamar Jackson, I made you a friendship bracelet.” Jackson got the bracelet back and in return gave him his hat and gave him a high five.

Jackson wore the bracelet on his right wrist during a postgame news conference and was still wearing it when he spoke to reporters Monday.

“To be honest, I just like the bracelet,” Jackson said. “It’s a great gift. I appreciate it.”

This isn’t the first time Jackson has received a unique gift. Last season, Jackson received a rug with his image on it and put it in his bedroom.

Jackson and the Ravens (6-3) have given fans a lot to cheer about this season. He is the quarterback of the NFL’s No. 1 offense, leading Baltimore to six wins in the last seven games.
