PUBG Studios, the studio behind, yes, PUBG, has unveiled Venture ARC, an untouched 5v5 PvP shooter considered from a top-down point of view and featuring a “real-time shared eye design.”
Venture ARC is formally described as a “fast-paced, realistic top-down shooting experience inspired by PUBG: Battlegrounds” that ensures “exciting, skill-based” shootouts, using attack rifles, submachine gun tunes, shotguns, sniping and grenade throwing. and more.
Its shooting action is based on what writer Krafton screams “widely known bomb mission rules” (and, yes, I had to check that), with teams attempting to hack or secure a confidential crypt in each and every games. The hacking team will have to scrap the crypt partitions in order to access and install a Decrypter tool; In the future, the security team will try to ban them.
This is all considered from a top-down point of view, and Venture ARC also touts a real-time shared eye design. “Modern warfare,” Krafton explains, “[is] based on disrupting the enemy’s line of sight, securing your sight quickly and attacking before the enemy notices you… Real-time line of sight shared with your teammates… creates immediate and non-verbal cooperation, which allowing you to quickly experience fast-paced CQB combat with your teammates.”
All Venture ARC characters are said to have their own unique weapons and gadgets, including grenades, reconnaissance drones, grenade launchers, proximity explosives, and throwable parts, including stun grenades and smoke grenades.
There are still bad promises of a shed for Venture Arc, and even platforms beyond Steam, but you can see its action in the announcement trailer above.
