The national tight end presence has only existed since 2018, when George Kittle and Jimmy Garoppolo created it by collision. Pitts got the birthday party started early for Atlanta, scoring just over two minutes into the game and then again a quarter later.
As you can see, Pitts started his birthday party a little early in the second, but the score ended up holding up. No one takes touchdowns away from tight ends at the national tight end showcase!

This Falcons-Buccaneers game surely wasn’t lacking in close-stopping ability, and when Pitts got the win (and then got a passing minute on those scores), Otton was tremendously important as well with some ratings from his staff.
Otton, like Kittle, is taking on an extra load with his injured teammates. Chris Godwin will be out for the season and Mike Evans will be out for the final few weeks. Otton has 17 receptions and 181 yards in his two games.
One could simply argue that McBride deserves to be a dozen above in those ratings. Truth be told, on a standard time, it can be. However, once again, this was the usual time. McBride was skilled in the Cardinals’ 28-27 comeback victory over the Dolphins, with seven receptions and 106 yards in the isolated second half.

He has not been the Travis Kelce that he looked this season, however possibly the relief gave him some powers. All three previous statistical sections have been season highs, and the landing was usually an old Patrick Mahomes-Kelce connection near the top zone.

If Trautman had the catch of the occasion, Njoku surely wasn’t within striking distance because the Browns surprised the Ravens.
Tight ends Sam LaPorta, Mark Andrews, Dalton Kincaid, Evan Engram, Tyler Conklin, Brock Wright and Nate Adkins also found the top zone in an event where the spot shined from start to finish.
