An intriguing bug in God of War Ragnarok revives a particular character and renders in their visual model in an inappropriate location.
Despite the Dwarven blacksmith’s untimely death at the hands of Odin during the game’s main plot, a strange God of War Ragnarok glitch brings Brok of the Huldra brothers back to life at the end of the game around a campfire in Vanaheim. One of the many heartbreaking and emotional moments in God of War Ragnarok that define its somber and serious tone and propel its exceptional narrative through its many turns is Brok’s death.
In God of War and God of War Ragnarok, two Dwarves named Brok and Sindri assist Kratos and Atreus by enhancing their tools and gear and providing guidance and company as needed. While Brok’s character development in God of War Ragnarok is less pronounced than that of Sindri’s, who deals with grief, anger, and feelings of vengeance quite a bit in the game.
After the main story was finished, a Redditor named Due Forever1193 posted a screenshot of them visiting Freyr’s camp in Vanaheim, and it appears that Brok comes back from the dead to follow them around the camp. The emotional impact of the players’ desire for Brok to rise from the dead to celebrate their victory over the game’s main antagonist Odin is carried by this visual glitch. If Brok had been there, he would have rejoiced with the rest of them at the fall of the Aesir, and he would have gathered with them at Freyr’s camp.
According to a survey of fans and players conducted by Sony, God of War Ragnarok is the PS5 game that players and fans prefer so far. God of War Ragnarok is unquestionably a great accomplishment by Santa Monica Studio to follow up the 2018 God of War game by producing a narrative and gameplay marvel, even though it didn’t win the Game of the Year award at The Game Awards in 2022.
Along with a few other companions, Kratos and Atreus travel through the nine realms in search of a way to overthrow Odin and the Aesir and put an end to Fimbulwinter. They encounter numerous challenging enemies, puzzles, and other challenges along the way, which they must overcome. God of War Ragnarok players have been overcoming these difficulties and mastering the challenging combat mechanics to prevail, even on the hardest difficulty setting.
God of War Ragnarok features a cast of endearing characters that players will remember long after their playthrough of the game has ended, like Brok. Therefore, a glitch that revives a beloved character is more of a pleasant surprise than a bothersome visual flaw.
God of War Ragnarok is available now for PS4 and PS5.
