Two teams with ambitions of finishing in the top eight of the league division will meet despite less than ideal starts in Champions League matches when Barcelona host Bayern Munich. Each and every one of them has already fit into this expanded UCL field and if there will be no problems completing the 24 leading teams at this level, avoiding alternative matches is a task for everyone.
The similarities do not end there, since both teams are led by new coaches and use some of the best forwards in the world, Harry Kane and Robert Lewandowski, behind the strategy. Former Bayern Munich players Hansi Flick and Lewandowski will also be regulars for the German giants despite how much things have changed at Bayern in recent seasons.
It’s a fit that would really fit the bill, as Lewandowski has 14 goals in 12 appearances for Barcelona in all competitions and Kane has 13 goals in 10 appearances for Bayern. Their assist techniques are also somewhat notable, but both defenses will need to strengthen their performances.
