Crusader Kings 3's Tours and Tournaments: A New Expansion for Life Beyond the Throne Room

Unleash Your Inner Medieval Tyrant with Crusader Kings 3’s Tours and Tournaments Expansion!

In the strategy game Crusader Kings 3, you can govern your kingdom, establish a dynasty, and make choices that will determine both your and your people’s futures. It is well known that the game is deep and complicated, which can be a gift and a curse. However, the upcoming release of Tours and Tournaments game’s second major expansion, players can expect a more immersive and exciting gameplay experience. We’ll take a closer look at what the expansion offers and what players can expect from it.

The most recent Crusader Kings 3 expansion, Tours and Tournaments, promises to include new features that will let players experience life outside of the throne chamber. The expansion released on May 11, and it will be available on Steam and the Microsoft Store.

The expansion will introduce new “grand activities,” which will give players more options to interact with their vassals and liege-lords. One of these activities is the fancy wedding, which promises to add more pomp and circumstance to marriages. Another activity is the stirring falconry hunt, which will let players participate in hunts and show off their hunting skills.

Tours and Tournaments will also introduce a new feature called the Epic Tour, which is a more detailed version of the pilgrimages that are already part of the game. Players will select an entourage, map out their route, and journey on a trip that will take them to various locations around the globe with the Epic Tour. They will encounter all kinds of people, pick up new traits, and place their lives in danger along the way.

The expansion will also introduce a new tournament system, which will let players participate in jousts and win prizes. The tournament system promises to be more engaging and immersive than previous iterations of tournaments in the game. Players will be able to charm onlookers as they smite their enemies from horseback.

The first expansion since Crusader Kings 3’s DLC strategy was revised by Paradox last year is Tours and Tournaments. Originally, the plan was to release DLC split between smaller “flavour packs” and bigger expansions. However, the plan changed, and Paradox added a new tier of “event packs” and increased the price of the flavour packs. This caused some upset among players, but the upcoming release of Tours and Tournaments may win over the doubters.

Crusader Kings 3’s Tours and Tournaments promises to be a game-changer for the franchise. With new grand activities, the Epic Tour, and the tournament system, players can expect a more immersive and engaging gameplay experience. The expansion available on May 11 and players can pre-order it now.
