There is only one date left in the Main League Football Family season. On Saturday, October 19, all teams in the Japanese and Western fixtures except Toronto FC could have taken kickoffs together to decide playoff spots and qualification. Because the league has 29 teams, one team must be free at every turn and it was Toronto who drew it on the last game date. For the Japanese Convention, all starts will begin at 6 pm Eastern Time, and for the West, they will begin at 9 pm Eastern Time.
Inter Miami may have already won the Supporters’ Box, securing the number one spot in the league’s overall standings, but two playoff spots are still up for grabs and other future teams will be able to compete for qualification. In the West, all the playoff participants are ready, but there is a fight between the two Los Angeles clubs to decide who is the number one seed for the playoffs.
Let’s take a look at the broadcast standings, the playoffs, and what teams need to do to build it.
Japanese convention

DC United can clinch a playoff spot if: They win or draw against Charlotte FC. Failure to achieve this makes things murky, but with a loss to CF Montreal and NYCFC along with a Philadelphia Union loss or draw, DC United will make it as long as they win in the tiebreakers. It is a homogeneous situation if Montreal and NYCFC lose and Atlanta United loses or draws, DC United will still make the playoffs as long as the tiebreakers are partial. After all, if Philadelphia and Atlanta United lose or tie, DC will clinch a playoff spot.
CF Montreal can clinch a playoff spot if: They win or draw against Fresh York Town FC. Things then get complicated again as DC United falls and Philadelphia loses or draws, which will see Montreal make the playoffs as long as they win in the tiebreakers. If DC United loses and Atlanta United loses or draws, it’s homogeneous where it will all come down to tiebreakers against Atlanta United. After all, if Philadelphia and Atlanta United lose or tie, Montreal will clinch a spot in the playoffs.
The Philadelphia Union can clinch a playoff berth if: They defeat FC Cincinnati, future CF Montreal and DC United each lose. With a win, Philadelphia can also do it if Montreal loses and Atlanta United loses or draws against Orlando Town SC. In addition to winning, Philadelphia can build it if Montreal loses and wins in the playoffs. If Union wins, they may also be able to progress with a loss for DC United and a loss or draw for Atlanta United. If Philadelphia wins and DC loses, the Union can also build it in response to the tiebreakers.
Atlanta United can clinch a playoff spot if: They defeat Orlando Town SC and lose Montreal or DC United. If Atlanta wins, they can also make the playoffs if Montreal loses and the Union loses or draws. If Atlanta wins and Montreal loses, Atlanta will have the tiebreaker over Philadelphia, the 5 Stripes will make the playoffs. Any other situation is that Atlanta can win a future defeat of DC United and Philadelphia suffer a loss or a draw. Atlanta can also build on it with a win, a DC United draw and a tiebreaker merit over Philadelphia.
Orlando Town can take credit for residential farmland in the first round with: A win, NYCFC loss, or a draw or future draw maintains a tiebreaker bonus over NYCFC.
Fresh York Town FC can take credit for local farmland in the first round with: A victory over CF Montreal and a tie between Orlando Town and the future of Atlanta United in the playoffs.
Western convention

LA Galaxy secures the number 1 spot with: A win or draw against the Houston Dynamo or a loss or draw for the LA Galaxy against the San Jose Earthquakes. If they are on stage in the issues, it will all come down to tiebreakers.
LAFC secures the number 1 spot with: A win and a loss for the LA Galaxy maintain a bonus in the tiebreakers.
