Twilight Fiction: Wukong could be physically available on PS5 “very soon,” according to developer Sport Science.
In a post to Previously, a promise to refuse was granted for one hour of leave.
Twilight Fiction: Wukong was recently rated by the ESRB for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC, which is necessary to leave a physical version in the territories covered by the rating.
Sport Science announced in June that an Xbox version of Twilight Fiction: Wukong did not arrive on time due to internal ownership concerns.
However, it has been reported that the extension was due to Sony submitting an undisclosed console exclusivity offer for the game.
Twilight Fiction: The Wukong DLC is reported to be out in early 2025.
According to China-based journalist and gaming industry advisor Daniel Camilo, Sport Science wants to start a number for the game to coincide with the Chinese Pristine Moment, which begins on January 29, 2025.
VGC’s Twilight Fiction: Wukong Ultimate Impressions called the game “a beautiful, if slightly boring, boss race”, and announced: “It’s absolutely beautiful and technically powerful, but its gameplay and narrative leave a lot to be desired.”
The game, which was developed by Shenzen-based studio Sport Science and, according to the Chinese-language Exit to the West brochure, was released for PC and PS5 on Tuesday.
Within hours of releasing, it attracted more than 1.44 million concurrent players on Steam, according to tracker Steam Charts, meaning it’s already the fourth-largest game on the platform in terms of concurrent players. The number of simultaneous participants exceeded 2 million on Thursday.
