Following the first Subnautica 2 showcase the day before, developer Unknown Worlds has given some first hints of what players can expect when the underwater survival adventure begins first thing in the morning. Multiplayer and “multiple biomes” support will be detailed at moment one, but there’s plenty of time to adjust given that early access is expected to be over “around 2 to 3 years.”
Subnautica 2 (which would be the third entry in the series from Unknown International, following its 2018 royal expansion and 2021’s Subnautica: Underneath 0) was initially teased in April 2022, with its great modern detail being cooperative. for up to four players.
Subnautica 2’s briefly debatable multiplayer approach was given a little detail in the first trailer for this event, which features two divers working together to explore the ocean depths of an alien planet. On the other hand, Unknown Worlds has now revealed a little more about what players can expect when the game launches next hour.

You’ll see avid players exploring everything from vast underwater cliffs to lush coral gardens, all with their own varied ecosystems and unique creatures. “But something is not right,” adds Unknown Worlds. “The world is out of balance. What happened here? What happened to you? And, more importantly, where are you?”
