Sony and Amazon have reportedly restarted their plans for a God of Warfare TV line, with scripts scrapped and a completely unused writers’ room about to be rented out.
According to Time Limit, showrunner Rafe Judkins (The Wheel of Age) and EPs Hawk Ostby and Mark Fergus (Youngsters of Men, Iron Guy, The Expanse), have left the live-action project after completing more than one script for the primary season.
“The studios are apparently looking to move in a different creative direction, although a source told Deadline that the trio’s scripts were praised by both Sony and Prime,” the newsletter mentions.
