It was believed that the victims returned from a night departure in Manhattan and were attacked by the group, according to the Morristown Public Security Department. Police are still investigating what is believed to be an isolated incident, according to a statement on the Facebook page of the department.
The theft occurs immediately after a series of seemingly orchestrated robberies that involve the houses of several high profile athletes. The members of a Chilean gang have been accused after they allegedly stole products worth $ 3 million of some of the best known athletes in the United States, including the field marshal of the Kansas City, Patrick Mahomes and The closed wing, Travis Kelce and the Marshal of Campo de los Bengals de los Cincinnati, Joe Burrow.
The thieves in those cases bounced from city to city with cars that rent with false identifications and burner phones. They would be betting on their brands for prolonged periods before breaking into the houses breaking or open sliding doors and grabbing watches, designer bags, gold chains, rings and cash.
They were arrested in part due to the images they published with some of the lucrative items.
