The Asoobi and Arrowhead Studios team swept the 28th annual awards says Awards last week, with Astro Bot taking home the award of the year.
The platform game won five awards in total, including the family game of the year, in addition to the achievements in animation, technology and game design. Helldivers 2 received the action and online game of the year, and was recognized for its contributions in music and audio design.
The success of the Balrato from Locothunk received three awards, including the mobile simulation and strategy game and outstanding achievements for an independent game.
Indiana Jones and The Great Circle de Machinegames also took three awards home, winning the adventure game of the year, as well as achievements in the character and history.
Organized by the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences, the Awards are voted by the more than 30,000 members of the organization.
In other places, the veteran of Nintendo of America, Don James, received the Aias Lifetime Achievement Award award, while the founder of Insomniac Games and outgoing CEO Ted Prince was included in the Hall of Fame of Aias.
