This will be the first final in Kolkata in a decade, with Eden Gardens was the host of the matches for the title of 2013 and 2015.
The other two playoffs, qualifier 1 on May 20 and the eliminator on May 21, will be played in Hyderabad, home of 2024 runner -up Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Royals, Delhi Capitals, Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans will play three afternoon games each, while the other seven teams will play two days each. The afternoon matches last year began at 3.30 pm isst.
There are 13 places at the time: the main bases in the home of each of the 10 teams together with Guwahati (second place in the home of the Royals), Visakhapatnam (the second place at Casa de Capitals) and Dharamsala (second place in Punjab house). While Guwahati and Vizag will organize two games each, three games will be played in Dharamsala.
While Punjab has generally played two games per season at the picturesque HPCA stadium in Dharamsala, the IPL has scheduled an additional game in the place this season, with capitals, Mumbai and LSG listings as Punjab opponents. These three games will be played from May 4 to 11, which means that Punjab is the only team that has a section of three consecutive homemade games. While several teams will be busy playing consecutive games with breaks of one or two days, no team will be on the way for three consecutive games.
As has been the case in each season since the IPL expanded to ten teams in 2022, the teams have divided into two groups, with KKR, RCB, Royals, CSK and Punjab in a group and SRH, Capitals, Titans, Mumbai and lsg in the other. The teams will meet the other teams in their group and one team in the other group, determined by the planting, twice and the other four teams in the opposite group once.
CSK and Mumbai, for example, will meet twice despite not being part of the same group.
After their March 23 contest, these two teams will meet again on April 20, again on a Sunday night, with Mumbai receiving Super Kings at the Wankhede stadium. Four teams, RCB, Mumbai, Punjab and LSG, will play their first game, and will only play their respective first games at home in April. RCB, who wrote a miraculous return to the way to reach the playoffs last year with six consecutive victories after winning only one of his first eight games, will end his league season with a sustained spell of games at home: four of His last six games will be at the M Chinnaswamy stadium.
