This event marks the tenth anniversary of Tennocon, and is associated with Make to Wish Canada, so it will probably be special. It is a two -day event, which will take place from July 18 to 19, so it should not be too hard on the credit card. Unless you want, of course. What is money for, if not the occasional waste on a vacation?
The first day will have a cosplay contest, early sales of merchandise and autograph signatures. There will even be a live presentation of Warframe’s discography in the nearby Canada Life Place, which should be pleasant. The second day is where all the great revelations happen, including panels, a soulframe panel with the last update, as well as Tennolive, which is often home to the largest ads in the program.
Other nearby notable places include Shelby’s Legendary Shwarma, the charming Victoria Park and, of course, area 420, which is just around the corner of the Extreme Digital offices and made the flight home two years ago . It is a place where I suppose that many Warframe players with whom I have passed have already been, judging for how long it takes them to the point of extraction.
In general, it is a fun show that is not too big to be narrow and uncomfortable, but still with that size and pomp that makes everything feel special. I would recommend it to any Warframe fan that can go. Who knows, can meet that table that continues to ruin its missions of extraction relics. One can wait.
