Frontier is clear on its update roadmap for Planet Coaster 2, with intact features on the way from February to May.
The sequel to the themed landscape simulator got its first separate major update in December, along with its first paid DLC.
The subsequent update will begin in February and will bring intact features such as custom video billboards, custom speakers, synchronized coasters, and interchangeable coaster vehicles.
As for the pristine attractions, there will be pristine reserve coasters, plus the return to the flat Pathos III experience. Alternative changes will come with improved navigation for visitors; continuous improvements of visitors, economic system and control; and continuous stability and function improvements.
The third update will begin next, allowing visitors to ditch the channels (ouch) and add round-bottom channels and inflatable warping. H2O rides are a major part of the sequel, which Frontier continues to tweak after release.
Other additions include the creation of professional maps available in sandbox mode, such as setting designs, additional reserve coasters, and any other recurring experiences.

Two additional updates are coming to the playground in April and possibly even if they are still in development.
An image of the roadmap was shared last week, with Frontier noting that it is not exhaustive and the developer is continuing to investigate crash and bug experiences. Each update will include a complete list of changes.
Finally, the developer could be looking to recover as much of the unreleased game Planet Coaster as possible, with more percentages coming in the month.
