Until Dawn Movie ‘First Look’ Trailer Released

Sony Pictures Entertainment has released the first trailer for the upcoming film Until Dawn.

It can be seen above and features insights from writer/producer Gary Dauberman and director David F. Sandberg.

The film Until Dawn was filmed in Hungary between August and October last year. Set to release on April 25, 2025, it is an adaptation of the PS4 horror game that was recently remade for PS5.

“As a big fan of the game Until Dawn and how cinematic it was, I thought a lot about how we could continue the story without giving the audience the same experience they had when they played it,” says Dauberman.

Sandberg, who previously directed Lights Out, Annabelle: Creation and Shazam, says: “The movie has pretty much the same tone and vibe, but it expands on the universe.

“One of the creative things the game did is that people make different decisions and die in different ways. The movie has this mechanic where things start over and then try again.

“Every time they come back to life it’s like they’re in a new horror genre. To survive they have to make it until dawn.”

The Until Dawn remake, which was released last October, contains two new ending scenes that may indicate plans for a sequel.
