Meta Quest Pro is no longer available for purchase

Meta has ended sales of its Quest Pro mixed reality headset.

The high-end Quest headphones were launched in October 2022 with a price of $1,499.99.

As Upload VR discovered, users visiting the Quest Pro website are now recommended to “purchase Meta Quest 3 for the best mixed reality experience and superior comfort.”

Coinciding with the announcement of its more affordable Quest 3S headsets last September, Meta confirmed its plans to discontinue the Quest Pro and the Quest 2 headsets, which are also unavailable.

“With the Quest 3S on the shelf, we are officially ending sales of the Quest 2 and Pro,” the company told TechCrunch at the time. “We will sell the remaining headphones until the end of the year or until they run out, whichever comes first.

“If you want a carrying case, the Touch Pro controllers, the Quest 2 Active Pack, or any of the other accessories for the Quest 2 and Pro, we plan to keep selling them for a little while longer.”

Meta Quest 3S launched last October alongside Batman: Arkham Shadow. Prices start at $299.99 / £289.99 / €329.99 for a 128GB handset, and a 256GB model costs $399.99 / £379.99 / €439.99.

Meta Quest 3 was launched in October 2023 at a price of $499.99 / £479.99 / €549.99 for the 128GB headset and $649.99 / £619.99 / €699.99 for the 512 GB model.
