Amad Diallo (Manchester United): It has been very difficult to choose the forwards this week, but Amad Diallo is the only one who is clear. He was excellent, he turned the Manchester derby around. As a young man he seems to be getting better and better.
With all the noise around Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford, Diallo seems to be going about his business and delivering regularly, and that’s what it’s all about.
Ismaila Sarr (Crystal Palace): When I played with him at Watford he was a winger, but at Palace they play him as a number 10 and he is going to show people what a good footballer he is.
He’s also the fastest person I’ve ever played with and for his second goal he recovered five yards from Lewis Dunk and then for his shot he was about 15 yards ahead. Incredible ending and great to see him out of place and flying at Palace.
Jacob Murphy (Newcastle): If I’m being totally honest, I never thought I’d do a Team of the Week where we’d be talking about Jacob Murphy. That’s probably the best compliment I can give him, he’s playing so well I have to include him. Two goals at the weekend, excellent performance.
Alejandro Isak (Newcastle): The best striker in the Premier League at the moment. Yes, I have said it and yes I stand by it. He is the complete forward. Unreal. Every time I see him I think: how come Arsenal haven’t signed him?
He is a very good player and finisher. He is a poacher but he is also a very silky player. You don’t see many silky poachers.
