DC Universe Online is Coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X.
The renowned MMO action game DC Universe Online will soon be available on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. After a remarkable 12-year run that began on the PS3, this game is still going and it is ready to unleash its superpowers on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
According to a blog update published on the DC Universe Online, the game will be released this holiday season on current-gen consoles.
It’s like giving your hero of choice a significant upgrade. Imagine driving through Metropolis or Gotham City with the performance and graphics turned up to 11. Senior community manager Ted Stone stated the details: you can expect gameplay improvements and quality-of-life changes that are suitable with the new hardware. It’s a complete makeover rather than just a facelift.
This project is a long-term performance that has already started. Some of these improvements will be introduced in the coming months prior to the new consoles’ release, while others will be introduced at launch and the rest will be introduced over the course of the coming year. The game’s 46th episode will debut in October, but all previous episodes are already available without charge. However, the game also offers in-game purchases and a monthly subscription fee.
