Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, the racer upgrade that Eurogamer’s Chris Tapsell once referred to as “objectively charges better” than Mario Kart, causing eyebrows to catapult neatly onto people’s faces, is coming to game Pass this Wednesday. December 4th.

“It’s just silly fun, a game that even now is not ashamed of itself,” he continued. “I think that’s probably why, even beyond the enormously generous treatment he’s received from Beenox… CTR remains one of the greatest kart racers ever created.” He then hit it with a Eurogamer Essential, after which everyone’s heads began to explode, scanner style.
Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled is the first game confirmed for Microsoft’s December game Pass lineup (you’ll find the November one here). It’s also the latest in a slow series of Activision Blizzard titles to hit the subscription service, following titles like Spyro Reignited Trilogy, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Diablo 4, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 since launch. from Microsoft. Acquisition of the publisher for $69 billion last year.
