We can see the finish line from here. There are only 17 days to the NFL 2025 draft and with the full professional days and the evaluations in the books, you can read my reviews of the Colorado showcase and the Ohio state, Miami and Syracuse Pro days-a simulated draft of three rounds only seemed appropriate.
Unlike a year ago, when six Quarterbacks were among the top 12, only two go in the 1st round here with another five on day 2. Meanwhile, 14 defensive cups and another 15 edge runners leave the board in possibly the deepest defensive line class in recent memory.
And finally, there is an exchange: I have the bears moving for a blue border corridor and the patriots that move down for reservation selections and help their young QB. I love what New England can do in this drill of three rounds, and I also like players who fell to San Francisco, Dallas and Kansas City, in particular. I suspect that some fans of those teams could disagree, but that is also fine.
