The 2024 NFL season is officially in the rearview mirror, and 31 teams around the league will spend the next seven months trying to improve their lists to compete with the super bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, while the Eagles will try to maintain their position as The best list in football.
The first stage in the process of acquiring out -of -season players is free agency, which begins in just a few weeks. For a few days in early March, there will be a massive expense around the NFL, and it is likely that many players on our list of the main offensive free agents below become significantly richer men.
Speaking of the 25 main offensive free agents are …
Higgins is expected to be a franchise labeled for the second consecutive year, technically taking it out of the open market, but we have seen before the players labeled with franchises are obtained if you are willing to offer enough draft capital and an appropriate contract. If the Bengals do not pay what it is worth, then there will be a team willing to reach the price on both fronts, and in that case, he remains the best player available.
Smith is clearly the best available player, and will almost surely play for a new team next season due to the Kansas City cover situation. Any team looking for an inner line should look first. However, there are other players available in the position, with a lot of depth in particular guard: French fries, Zeitler, Becton, Jenkins, Martin, Daniels and Scherff are quality holders. Some of them have age problems (Zeitler, Martin, Scherff) or injuries (Becton, Martin) that could prevent their best beings from being, but there is a lot of depth between the group in any way.
The same is true for the receiver, by the way. Godwin and Diggs are coming out of significant knee injuries, but both showed this season that they can still play at a high level. There is less risk in Godwin because it is younger, but Diggs could cost less due to the age/injury combination. Even beyond those two players, however, there is a batch deep in the receiver market.
Both Chiefs containers are available in this low season, and it is possible that it is not difficult to get them considering the problems of their own age (Hopkins) and injuries (Brown). Hollywood could be a very good low purchase for someone in the same way that made an intelligent bet for Chiefs last year, just for the dice roll to reach the eyes of snakes due to their pre -season shoulder injury. Cooper did not have a great impact upon arrival in Buffalo and that could reduce its price, but it was excellent in Cleveland in the last two years and had a personal problem deranging part of its time with the Bills, which at least partially explains the fall in The game time and production. Then there is Allen, which is clearly not physically as it was, but it can still be a reliable objective under the slot. He will want to limit his play time and make sure he is not his best option in the air game, but he can help him.
The runner market is not great, but it is not terrible. Harris and Jones can still be part of Backfield’s rotations, and players such as Rico Dowdle and Jk Dobbins will also be out there. Raheem Mostert has just been released and will also be available, and some team might want to try to recover what Javonte Williams was early in his rookie contract, before his injury.
The field marshal class is … not great. Darnold may have cost a significant amount of money with their performances in week 18 and the first round of the playoffs, but it is still the best option. However, it is possible that it no longer obtains a long -term agreement, and now it can be seen as more a medium -level bridge field than SOUTHEFIRE HOLDER. After him, you can choose the Steelers field marshals. There is no much advantage in Wilson, so Fields seems a better bet for me, but the League might not see it like that. If you miss those boys, there are always young players like Trey Lance, Mac Jones and Zach Wilson, or long -term backups such as Jacoby Brissett and Marcus Mariota. Or hey, someone could take another chance about Jimmy Garoppolo.
