Four days are left in 2024-25 NBA Regular season, and there is still a lot for games in terms of planting playoffs, especially in the Wild West of the League. The Thunder, the Rockets and the Lakers have achieved Literas de Playoffs in the West, but the other three guaranteed points remain undecided and there are five teams (the Nuggets, Clippers, Warriors, Timberwolves and Grizzlies) separated by 1.5 games. The image of the playoffs of the West Conference will be reduced to the cable with the group established on Sunday night.
The Lakers guaranteed their place in the playoffs with a victory over the MAVs in Luka Dončić’s emotional return Dallas on Wednesday night. The warriors, meanwhile, suffered a crucial loss when the Spurs surprised Golden State in Harrison Barnes game winner.
The Cavaliers secured the best east seed on Tuesday night with their 63rd victory of the season. And we know the other five teams with guaranteed playoffs in the East: the Celtics (which will be seed No. 2), Knicks, Pacers, Bucks and Pistons, probably in that order. The current Celtics champion remains the favorites to win the East (-155 in Fanduel) despite missing the upper seed. Four teams (The Magic, Hawks, Bulls and Heat) are also locked in the East Game Tournament next week.
The Lakers have a thin advantage for seed number 3 of the West, and is almost as tight as they can support them. Nuggets, Clippers and Grizzlies enter the game on Thursday with 32 losses.

As a reminder: The six best teams at each conference automatically obtain places in the 16 -team playoff field. The final Four Playoff Spots will be determined by the game tournament, which will feature the numbers 7-10 at each conference. The seventh place team receives the team of eight places to win the seed number 7. The loser of that game will face the winner of a game between the teams of the ninth and tenth place for seed number 8.
Tie-breaker
This is how the ranks of the NBA playoffs work:
In the case of a bidirectional draw, the team that won the season series obtains the highest seed. If they divide the season series and one of the teams won its division, the division winner obtains the highest seed. If that does not solve the draw, then the tiebreaker are, in order: the division record (if the teams are in the same division), conference record, record against the 10 best teams at conference, record against teams of the 10 best teams in both conferences, points differential.
In the event that more than two teams are tied, the tiebreaker are, in order: winner of the division, record against tied equipment, division record (if all the tied teams are in the same division), conference record, record against teams of the Top 10 conference, record against the 10 main teams in both conferences, differential points.
