More than 110 former developers of the Metro Series have joined as a new study, known as Reborn, and its first project, La Chimera, is a ambient science fiction shooter in Latin America that is being co -written by the director of Impulso, Nicolas Winding Refn.
The details of the announcement have led to a certain confusion as the brand change conversation has left, but regnra essentially it seems that the sub-study developer 4a Games Ukraine separates from the Malta headquarters of the 4th games to do their own. As for the remaining 4th games, it continues to work on a new IP and the next Metro project.
However, Reborn consists of more than 110 former subway developers, including game designers, artists, sound engineers and programmers, all led by the former CEO of Ukraine of 4a, Dmytro Lymar. And its debut project is the science fiction FP La Chimera, promising “rolls of tense weapons and intimate stories” in a futuristic and exuberant Latin American megalopolis in the jungle.
The chimera sees the players, either alone or cooperatively with up to two friends, entering the customizable exosuit of a PMC soldier who fights the rival factions. There is talk of “unique and highly detailed” characters and weapons, since players experience a world and a narrative written and created by Nicolas Winding Refn (drive, only God forgives, the neon demon) and Eja Warren.
You can try that in the announcement trailer of the chimera above. But Reborn, who also has a presence in Cyprus along with his Ukraine and remote teams, says he will share more in the PC game, along with additional “support images”, in the coming months.
